Many of their horses live at Le Moulin in the paddocks beyond the house and they also have use of our Polo field, where the French national Team practice. Whether its riding trips into the Forrest, lessons, dressage or Polo Le Grange Matin can cater for it.
Gif Sur Yvette has its own golf course. Golf de Gif-Chevry open 9 till 6 daily. Approx 6 km from Le Moulin Tél: 01.60.12.40.33 http://golfdechevry.fr/golf/
Or for the more discerning golfer, Le Golf National is 12 km away and the home of 2018’s Ryder Cup.

A short walk through the gates at Le Moulin you can join a network of footpaths stretching for thousands miles. Allowing you to explore the beautiful Chevreuse valley , this beautiful “tres ancienne” forest was once home to goats hence the name. You are more likely now though to see wild boar, deer, and eagles and many other species of birds.
Cycling is hugely popular in France and this area is no different. There are a huge network of wonderful roads to explore around the area, with hills to climb for the more strenuous work out or stay in the valley for an easier day, there routes to suit all taste. There is a friendly bike shop very close to Le Moulin www.espacebellouis.com where bikes can be hired or serviced. Call in to chat through your requirements.
When you come, don’t forget to pack your tennis rackets and a few tennis balls. We’ve just restored the old tennis court at Le Moulin de la Tuilerie and it’s now ready for game, set and match.
Play for fun, or play as part of an active itinerary including walking and cycling, or just work off a pound or two. You’ll feel better about the extra helping of that exquisite French dessert then.
