Originally the estate pigeonnier (dovecote), this building was converted by the Windsors into an outside dining room and kitchen. Recently fully refurbished and sensitively restored Le Pigeonnier is now a stunning two bedroom cottage situated in the gardens next to the Orangery and croquet lawn. Retaining many original interiors from the Windsors period by Stéphane Boudin alongside new bathrooms and a large family kitchen. Le Pigeonnier has its own front door leading into the lobby with hanging space and desk area then into the kitchen one side and sitting room with French doors giving access onto the gardens on the other. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master bedroom with en suite then across the landing the second bedroom with two single beds. Then separate shower room with loo.

This fascinating chateau dates from 1604 and is situated in the Chevreuse Valley. It remains the family home of the Marquis de Breteuil. One hour tours of the chateau are available everyday all year round and are adapted to your party. A kiosk-creperie, tearooms and picnic areas all make for a fantastic day out.
