The Orangery started life as an agricultural barn, converted by the Duke into his personal sitting room and used to house his collection of military ephemera. It is now a lovely open space with full height ceilings, exposed king post beams and French doors onto the croquet lawn. With its two huge medieval limestone fireplaces at either end this is the perfect place for a large family dinner, concert, wedding breakfast, fitness, art exhibition or corporate and training activities. Its fully enabled for Wifi, with central heating and a range of options for seating and tables available.

Chateau de Coubertin is one of many fascinating chateaux with a house and gardens open to the public and just a short distance from Le Moulin de la Tuilerie. The Chateau itself is managed by the Fondation de Coubertin, which has been responsible for it’s restoration. The house and gardens are open to visitors with a cost for the day of around 20 euros.
